The word here is power. Built primarly with rafting in mind the waves here are big powerful, churning monsters made to eat rafts. We factored in just enough surf science to make sure the primary wave has a really solid peak shape. Learning to river surf here is a greater undertaking than in Boise. Where Boise is smooth and condensed usually running at about 800 CFS, Cloumbus is big and expansive often running  above 10,000 CFS.  The primary wave is ideal for advanced or pro surfers who will find the wave very rippable. Intermediate surfers will have fun here too but be prepared to be awed but the shear size and power of the wave - a couple of long swims and you will get it dialed.  Straps on a board are great here as the surging qaulity of the wave allows for huge airs more similar to snowboarding. Cross over surfers from wakeboarding or wakesurfing will love this wave.  Not to mention the water is warm and trunkable much of the year.
